I'm interested in how people work together, how businesses grow and where technology can genuinely help. Those questions have followed me through a career that hasn't stayed neatly within one industry.
I began in the Republic of Singapore Air Force as a C-130 loadmaster. My career since then has included cloud services, AI, partnerships and business development across different markets.
At BeyondEdge, I lead Sales & Business Development. My work involves understanding enterprise needs, developing partnerships and connecting commercial opportunities with the right capabilities.
Learning Goes Both Ways
As a Council Member, Global Connect, at the Singapore AI Association, I contribute to connections across the AI community. As a trainer and mentor, I enjoy helping people work through unfamiliar ideas and find practical starting points.
Teaching also keeps me learning. A thoughtful question from someone new to a subject can be more useful than another familiar answer.
Leadership, With Responsibility
Take Accountability. Own decisions, share credit and address mistakes. That is where ethical leadership starts for me.
Use Sound Judgment. Understand the people affected, test assumptions and be honest about risks, especially when adopting AI.
Build Trust For The Long Term. Friendship first, business follows. Commercial growth should respect the people and relationships behind it.
Help People Grow. Listen, give clear direction and make room for others to contribute. Leadership means continuing to learn, too.
Opening Doors With Pizza
At GrandTech Cloud Services, I worked with the team on ‘Pizza Blitz’, a campaign that brought 300 pizzas to Singapore’s startup community. The idea was simple: shared food could attract attention and open a business conversation. It reflects how I approach leadership: think creatively, bring people together and pay attention to execution.

Beyond The Job Title
Outside work, you'll find me enjoying games, collecting Warcraft memorabilia or trying to persuade Singapore's clouds to let me photograph the night sky.
I write about those interests too. They offer plenty to think about: teamwork, judgment, patience and occasionally the storage requirements of a very large hammer.
